- If I'm not mistaken video cd uses a compression routine that is a form of
- mpeg-II but has to adhere to strict encoding in what is called white book
- format. Not positive but for some reason this is what sticks out in my
- mind as the format. Also I think it may be written to disk in such a way
- that enables storage of much more data than the average cdrom.
