  23. If I'm not mistaken video cd uses a compression routine that is a form of
  24. mpeg-II but has to adhere to strict encoding in what is called white book
  25. format.  Not positive but for some reason this is what sticks out in my
  26. mind as the format.  Also I think it may be written to disk in such a way
  27. that enables storage of much more data than the average cdrom.
